Admission Requirements for UCONN Nursing

  1. The school accept in-person, on-line or hybrid classes for the three lab-required courses: Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology I, and Anatomy & Physiology II.
    **Beginning Fall 2024, hybrid classes for Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology I and Anatomy & Physiology II will be accepted however, the lab must be in-person
  2. Bachelor’s degree, attained by August at the latest, of the year in which the applicant is applying to the CEIN program (with undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred)
  3. An official transcript showing degree conferral is required before the application can be reviewed by the faculty committee.  Holding a bachelor’s degree is required before applying to a second-degree program
  4. Required courses, with B- or better grades in each (a C or below is not accepted), taken within eight years of enrollment:
