There are two ways to Check Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) 2023/2024 Results online. Candidates can check their results online (through the JAMB portal) or via SMS (using JAMB shortcodes).
Using the jamb portal option is totally free, all you only need is an internet-enabled device to be able to check your result. The SMS option is good for candidates with no internet-enabled device or candidates in locations with a terrible network. Also, be informed that network providers will charge for using the SMS option.

HOW TO CHECK JAMB RESULTS Using SMS
All candidates who took part in the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) 2023/2024, can check their results through SMS, using the phone number they used for their Registration. To check Your JAMB Result via 55019, use the guideline provided below.
- Go to your Message and type RESULT
- Send it to 55019.
- To ensure you get your result, you need to have at least, N50 on your Simcard.
- You will be charged N50 and get a reply to your result via SMS.
- Note that this will not work if you used a Simcard not registered for the 2022 jamb Examinations.

You might get any of the following responses after sending the SMS:
- If a candidate uses a phone number that was not used to register for jamb to send the SMS, a message will be sent to him thus: ‘This phone number was not used for registration.”
- A candidate whose result is available and ready will receive a message saying: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the result will be provided).
- if a candidate’s result is withheld, the candidate will receive a message saying: “Result Withheld”
- Suppose a candidate belongs to the category being given the benefit of the doubt. In that case, the message to the person will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
- If a candidate was absent during the examination, he/she will get a message saying: “CANDIDATE ABSENT”
- A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.
- “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.
How To Print Original JAMB Result Slip:

The JAMB result slip costs N1,000 (one thousand naira only), and it comes with your passport photography affixed to it.
